Blinds have individual slats that tilt to control light and privacy. Shades are made from a single piece of
fabric or material that raises and lowers — they come in cellular, roller, Roman, and woven wood styles.

treatments. Our designers will explain the practical and aesthetic differences during your consultation.

Our process has five steps: (1) Free in-home consultation — we assess your windows, discuss your

showroom. (3) Custom order — every Hunter Douglas product is made to order for your exact window

to 4 weeks.
Q: How long does installation take?
Most installations are completed in a single visit, typically between 2 and 4 hours depending on the
number of windows and complexity of the products. Motorized and automated systems may take
slightly longer to configure.
Q: How long does it take to receive my Hunter Douglas order?
Most orders are completed and ready for installation within 2 to 4 weeks from the date of order. We will
give you a specific timeframe at time of order.
Q: Do you offer custom draperies?
Yes. J Bradwells operates a full in-house workroom for custom draperies, curtains, valances, and soft
window treatments — made to your exact specifications in fabric of your choosing. We are also an
exclusive dealer for the Hunter Douglas Carole Fabric Division, offering hundreds of designer fabrics
available for motorized and non-motorized treatments.
Q: Do you offer financing for Hunter Douglas products?
Yes. Financing options are available through Hunter Douglas for qualifying purchases. Ask us about

Yes. In addition to window treatments, J Bradwells offers full interior design consultation services. Jere
Bradwell has over 30 years of professional experience serving high-end residential clients. We assist
with space planning, furniture selection, fabric and finish selections, and overall room design. We also
carry a curated selection of home furnishings and decor in our showroom.
Q: How much does an interior design consultation cost?
Our initial in-home consultation is completely free with no obligation. We come to your home, assess
the space, listen to your vision, and provide professional guidance at no cost. If you decide to move
forward with a design project, we will discuss fees and scope at that time.
Q: What style of design does J Bradwells specialize in?
We work across a range of styles — from classic and traditional to transitional and contemporary —
with particular strength in refined, sophisticated residential interiors. We believe good design is about
understanding how you live in your home, not imposing a trend. We listen first.
Q: Can J Bradwells help with a full room redesign, or just window treatments?
Either. Many clients come to us specifically for window treatments and discover we offer much more.
Others engage us for a full room project from the start. There is no minimum scope — we are happy to
help with one window or an entire home.

Q: Does J Bradwells work with interior designers and other trade professionals?
Yes. We have a formal Trade Partner Program for interior designers, decorators, and architects in the
New Hope and Lambertville region. Because J Bradwells is the only Hunter Douglas Gallery dealer in the
area, many design professionals use our showroom as a trusted resource. We have a written
commitment that we will never solicit or accept design project work from a trade partner's clients —
their client relationship is always protected.
Q: Do you offer a referral commission to designers?
Yes. We offer a referral commission of 10% of the net sale on orders placed by clients referred by trade
partners, paid within 30 days of completed installation. Our Trade Partner Agreement formalizes the
arrangement and includes a non-solicitation clause protecting the referring designer's client
relationship.
Q: Can a designer bring their client to your showroom?
Absolutely — and we encourage it. Our Gallery showroom displays the full Hunter Douglas product line,
including working motorized samples. Most area designers work from limited product kits; our
showroom lets their clients experience the products firsthand. We handle measuring, ordering, and
installation so the designer can focus on the design vision.
Q: What does a Hunter Douglas Gallery showroom offer that a kit dealer cannot?
A kit dealer has swatches representing a limited portion of the Hunter Douglas line. A Gallery showroom
has fully operational, properly displayed samples of every product category. Your client can raise and

Both. We offer free in-home consultations throughout our service area — we bring samples so you can
see colors and textures in your own light. We also welcome showroom visits, where you can see the full
Hunter Douglas line on display. Many clients do both: visit the showroom to explore options, then have
us come to their home for the final selection and measurement.
Q: What should I prepare for an in-home consultation?
Nothing is required — we handle everything. If you have inspiration images, paint chips, fabric samples,
or photos of your space, those are always welcome. Otherwise, just let us in and we will take it from
there.

Hunter Douglas products require minimal maintenance. Most shades and blinds can be dusted with a
soft cloth or gently vacuumed with a brush attachment, and many can be spot-cleaned. Hunter
